Synopsis
After a voice from beyond time identifies herself as Cyrene and tells David to research the name of her ancient lover, a trail through mythology begins to collapse the distance between past and present. The investigation leads to Apollo, forgotten memories, Samael, ancient betrayal, and a violent struggle against forces that operate beyond ordinary physical reality.
At the center of the story is the bond between Cyrene and Apollo: a relationship remembered across incarnations and tested in a mythic confrontation involving Lamia, a monstrous chimaera, astral manipulation, and the recovery of a deeper identity.

Production
Anamnesis marked a major evolution in the production of The Lion of God. Rather than treating AI-generated video as finished footage, the film was assembled shot by shot using controlled keyframes, compositing, animation tools, conventional editing, recorded performances, music, and sound design.
The production process and lessons learned while making the film were later detailed in Creative COW in “From Graphic Novel to 30-Minute Animated Film: What I Learned Building an AI-Assisted Production Pipeline”.
